steamboat @ urban life

Yesterday, my urban life surprised me with a birthday celebration and we had steamboat for the night. Well, the steamboat was already planned for all the while. But the surprise, I suppose, was something that I didn't actually see coming (or did I? *snigger). Nevertheless, I was really touched by the effort they put in into the whole thing, and especially with Esther who contacted a few of my friends who weren't even Christians but came and stayed through it all anyway. Many thanks to you all.

Here are some photos taken from the night. No shots of the cake, though, which is a pity, I say, as the tiramisu was heavenly. The camera was still in the bag when I walked in, got bombarded by the crowd, the cake, the candle-blowing, and the consumption of the cake. Which all took place in less than 10 minutes, I reckon.
